In an interview with SFC reporter, Leon Wang, the Executive Vice President, International and China President at AstraZeneca, noted that this year marks the 45th anniversary of China's reform and opening-up, coinciding with AstraZeneca's 30-year presence in the country. During these three decades, AstraZeneca has borne witness to a steadily improving business environment and the introduction of favorable policies for foreign investment in China. 

Wang stated, "Over these thirty years, China has evolved into AstraZeneca's second-largest global market and has played a pivotal role in our global research, supply, and innovation network."
