After the annual "Double 11" shopping festival, said to be the world's largest, wrapped up at mid-night Saturday, China's State Post Bureau and some Chinese e-commerce giants reported "record numbers," while others are reporting "positive growth," underscoring Chinese consumers' strong spending power.

While many e-commerce platforms stopped reporting gross merchandise value (GMV) for "Double 11" sales since last year, they offered various highlights of sales activities on their platforms on Sunday.

Tmall, Chinese tech heavyweight Alibaba Group's business-to-customer platform, said that 402 brands, including 243 domestic ones, saw their sales surpass 100 million yuan from 8 pm on Oct 31 to midnight on Saturday. The turnover of 38,000 brands surged more than 100 percent year-on-year during this period.

Travel bookings surged 80 percent as of midnight on Nov. 11 from the same time last year and the number of customers doubled, according to Fliggy, the online travel arm of Alibaba. Over a third of flight reservations were to overseas destinations. New Zealand, Argentina, French Polynesia and Kenya ranked among the top ten tourist destinations.

JD said its transaction volume, order volume and user engagement "reached record highs". The sales of over 60 brands surpassed 1 billion yuan, and nearly 20,000 brands witnessed their turnover increase threefold year-on-year over the weeks-long promotion gala.

Young Chinese consumers increasingly opt for high-quality homegrown brands, with the spending from the post-1990s and post-2000s generations accounting for 62 percent of the total sales of domestic brands, it added.

Various other Chinese online platforms, including livestream sites such as Kuaishou and Douyin, also reported strong sales figures. Douyin, TikTok's sister app in China, said its daily average GMV and order volume both increased by more than 50 percent, though it did not offer specific sales figures.

In another major indicator, China's State Post Bureau said on Sunday that China has set a new record by handling 639 million parcels on "Double 11" on Saturday, 1.87 times the volume on regular days and 15.76 percent higher than that of the same day last year. Between Nov 1 and Saturday, the volume increased 23.22 percent year-on-year.

11月11日24点，2023年双十一正式收官，各大平台发布的双十一战报均未披露具体交易数额。

来自京东的数据显示，截至11月11日晚23：59，累计超过60个品牌销售破10亿元，约300个品牌销售额破亿元，近20000个品牌成交额同比增长超3倍，新商家成交单量环比增长超5倍；“出圈”的京东采销直播间总观看量突破3.8亿人次。此外，今年京东“双十一”期间，90后及00后国货消费金额占比达62%，成为了国货消费的绝对主力。

天猫方面则表示⽤户规模、商家规模、订单量、成交总额全⾯增⻓。截至11月11日零点，共有402个品牌成交破亿，其中有243个是国货品牌，3.8万个品牌成交同比增长超过100%。

11月12日，抖音电商公布今年双十一大促阶段性战报，官方立减玩法商品的总计曝光达 1341亿，定金预售商品日均 GMV（商品交易总额：包含拍下未支付订单金额）破百万的单品达468个，其中定金预售商品的整体支付 GMV是去年双十一同期的1.6倍。

值得一提的是，今年双十一“囤旅游”已成主要消费模式之一。截至11月11日24时，飞猪“双十一”GMV（商品成交额）同比去年增长超80%；交易用户数同比去年增长约100%；参与飞猪“双十一”活动的旅游商家总量同比去年增长超120%。出境游贡献规模占比超1/3，在最受欢迎的海外目的地中，除了马尔代夫、日本、马来西亚、韩国、泰国、新加坡等“四小时飞行圈”内的国家，新西兰、阿根廷、法属波利尼西亚、肯尼亚等海外目的地也位列前十。

同时，国家邮政局监测数据显示，2023年11月1日至11日，全国邮政快递企业共揽收快递包裹52.64亿件，同比增长23.22%，日均业务量是平日业务量的1.4倍。其中11月11日当天，共揽收快递包裹6.39亿件，是平日业务量的1.87倍，同比增长15.76%。“双11”期间快递业务量再次刷新纪录，有效助力消费市场恢复扩大，充分彰显中国经济发展的韧性和活力。

China has nearly completed its autumn harvest as scheduled, harvesting more than 96 percent of the autumn grain crops so far, essentially achieving a bumper harvest despite extreme weather in some regions, according to a recent update from the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs (MOA) on Saturday. Meanwhile, as of Friday, more than 90 percent of the planned winter wheat sowing area had been completed.

The sixth China International Import Expo has closed with USD78.4 billion worth of tentative deals, a jump of 6.7 percent from last year’s event and a new record, according to the event organizers. As many as 3,486 firms from 128 countries and regions around the world displayed their goods in the trade fair’s business and commercial exhibition, the most of all the CIIEs so far, according to data from the Ministry of Commerce. This included 289 industry leaders and Fortune 500 companies. In total, 442 new products, technologies and services went on show.

Guangdong Province on Monday issued guidance on accelerating the construction of a leading hub for artificial intelligence (AI) innovation, aiming to secure the top position in the country as a leading intelligent computing power by 2025, and planning to speed up the construction of the "Digital Bay Area.” This includes the establishment of a well-rounded innovation framework for AI technology and further expansion of high-level AI application scenarios, according to the guidance. The province plans to reach an industry scale of 300 billion yuan, with the participation of over 2,000 enterprises, and cultivating Guangdong into a front-runner for national innovation led by AI. In addition, Guangdong also plans to establish a national hub for intelligent computing power, a "data special zone" within the Greater Bay Area, and a national showcase for intelligent AI application scenarios. The province also vowed to strengthen key technological breakthroughs in large-scale language models, ramp up efforts to accelerate the development of the "Digital Bay Area" and explore mechanisms for cross-border data circulation.

The Shanghai and Shenzhen stock exchanges have revised their rules on information disclosure of refinancing business after a probe into a unit of Chinese private equity firm Hillhouse Capital exposed a loophole. After the revision, shareholders with equities of at least 5 percent in a listed company can no longer dodge their information disclosure obligations by lowering their holdings via securities refinancing.
沪深交易所明确“转融通”规则：近日，沪深交易所均修订发布了上市公司业务办理方面的自律监管指南。其中，对上市公司持股5%以上股东，因转融通出借导致持股低于5%的，仍按归并计算后的持股比例予以相应规则约束，即不得违规减持、不得短线交易、不得进行以该上市公司股票为标的证券的融资融券交易。同时，在上市公司定期报告中，包括持股5%以上股东，以及十大股东、十大流通股东，都要说明报告期初、期末通过转融通出借股票的数量和比例。
China Galaxy Securities and China International Capital Corporation rebutted market rumors that the two brokerages will merge. China Galaxy has not received any information from government departments, regulatory agencies, or controlling shareholders and actual controllers that it would merge and reorganize with CICC, it said today. Global asset management giant and public fund company Vanguard on Friday confirmed that it is planning to withdraw from China and close its offices in China. Vanguard Investment Advisory (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. has recently changed its name to Ant Investment Advisory (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. Chinese stocks gained on Monday with the benchmark Shanghai Composite adding 0.3 percent and the Shenzhen Component inching up 0.1 percent. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng index also closed 1.3 percent higher while the TECH index rose 2.3 percent.
A股港股收涨：周一A股A股三大指数今日集体收涨，截至收盘，沪指涨0.25%，深成指涨0.10%，创业板指涨0.20%，沪深两市成交额8686亿元。两市超3800只个股上涨。北向资金净卖出14.43亿元。港股三大指数尾盘拉升，截至收盘恒生指数涨1.3%，恒生科技指数涨2.28%。
